PM Modi to Launch Mega Infrastructure Projects in Telangana
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate and lay the foundation for infrastructure projects totaling Rs 7,823 crore during his visit to Telangana. Among these are significant railway and highway developments. Union Coal Minister G Kishan Reddy criticized opposition parties for creating hurdles in government initiatives.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate or lay the foundation stone for projects valued at Rs 7,823 crore during his visit to Telangana on May 10, according to Union Coal Minister G Kishan Reddy. These projects comprise railway and highway works, with major investments in infrastructure development.
Among the key projects, Modi will virtually lay the foundation for National Highway works worth Rs 3,175 crore in Mahabubnagar and inaugurate a Rs 611 crore petroleum products hub designed to facilitate petrol, diesel, aviation fuel, and lubricants. Additionally, he will dedicate railway projects including the significant Rs 1,243 crore Kazipet-Vijayawada third line project.
Reddy accused opposition parties, particularly the Congress, of obstructing NDA government initiatives. He criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and other regional leaders for sowing political divisions. The Minister also confirmed that the Centre is prepared to approve the Hyderabad Metro Rail project following necessary submissions from the Telangana government.
