IUML leader Panakkad Munavvar Ali Shihab Thangal on Sunday revealed the party's unwavering support for Congress's decision regarding the chief ministerial candidate ahead of the Kerala Assembly poll results. He stated this approach adheres to UDF's established norms.
With the crucial vote count scheduled for Monday, Thangal expressed optimism that the United Democratic Front (UDF) would achieve victory. He reassured reporters that IUML will stand by whatever decision Congress makes, reflecting past precedents.
Thangal countered allegations from SNDP Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan, stating that the election outcome will address such concerns, while noting that discussions on IUML's governmental roles would only proceed post-election results.
