Bihar is gearing up for a significant political event as the state's cabinet seeks expansion under the leadership of Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary from the BJP. The event, scheduled for Thursday, will witness the presence of significant national figures, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and BJP national president Nitin Nabin.
This marks the first time a member of the BJP holds the chief minister post in Bihar following Nitish Kumar's resignation. Grand preparations are reported as Modi's arrival also represents his first visit to the state since the party's decisive win in West Bengal.
The expanded cabinet is expected to bring together influential NDA allies, with speculations on which LJP(RV) MLAs might join the ministerial ranks. This move is described by NDA parties as a strategic step post the results of the five assembly elections.
