The AIADMK reiterated its decision not to support the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) in forming a new government in Tamil Nadu. The party's deputy general secretary, K P Munusamy, made this clear amid media reports suggesting a possible alliance.
TVK secured 108 seats in its electoral debut but requires an additional 10 seats for a majority, leading to speculation about post-election partnerships. However, AIADMK has denied any such alliance.
Munusamy emphasized the party's stance, stating that the clarification was issued under the direction of the AIADMK general secretary, Edappadi K. Palaniswami, following the recent assembly election results.
