Political Turmoil: Nepal PM's Absence Sparks Opposition Uproar

What fueled the uproar was Shah's absence when he was expected to respond, delegating the responsibility at the eleventh hour to Finance Minister Swornim Wagly. This unexpected change spurred protests led by the opposition, with Shram Sanskriti Party chief Harka Rai even calling for PM Shah's resignation.

Speaker D P Aryal intervened, promising to discuss the issue with the Prime Minister. Meanwhile, the session was adjourned till 11 am on Thursday. The political backdrop remains tense as the Nepali Congress, Rastriya Swatantra Party, and Nepali Communist Party stand firm on their demand for Shah's accountability.
