Kremlin authorities have confirmed that Russian President Vladimir Putin will soon make an official visit to China. According to Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesperson, all necessary arrangements for the trip have been finalized.
This upcoming visit highlights the strong diplomatic ties between Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping, who have collectively conducted over 40 meetings. Their last engagement transpired in Beijing in the previous September.
The Russian and Chinese leaders cemented a 'no limits' strategic partnership in February 2022, just weeks before Russia initiated its campaign in Ukraine. Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump is also scheduled for a formal visit to China this week.
