During the 30-minute discussion, Satheesan and Cleemis, head of the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church, focused on fostering inclusive governance and development, steering clear of specific minority issues. Cleemis expressed confidence in Satheesan’s future administration, emphasizing the importance of community respect and the Church's supportive role.
Following their engagement with clerics and a shared meal, Satheesan departed for crucial discussions on ministerial portfolios, ahead of his swearing-in ceremony scheduled in Thiruvananthapuram on Monday.
