A tragic incident unfolded in Rajasthan's Banswara district where BJP leader Arjun Singh Maida, aged 47, was found hanging from a tree on Sunday.

The discovery came shortly after Maida, a district secretary and Junakheda village resident, reportedly quarreled with his wife on Saturday night before leaving their home.

Police, led by ASI Ramesh Chand from the Danpur station, have registered a case following a complaint by Maida's son, Abhimanyu. Injury marks on the body prompt a thorough investigation as authorities await the post-mortem report to identify the exact cause of death.
