Leaders and political parties rejected by people are talking ''nonsense'' about Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said on Wednesday.
Gupta's attack came after Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, at a public meeting in Raebareli, called Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah ''traitors''.
Gupta told reporters here that Gandhi should sometimes also read the copy of the Constitution that he carries in his pocket.
''The words used by him for the leader of the House, in which he is the leader of opposition, show his low thoughts and values,'' she said.
Gandhi and the Congress have been rejected by people and he is talking ''nonsense'' out of frustration, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader said, adding that people know which political party and family have betrayed the country.
In the coming Assembly polls in different states, they will have to answer the people and face another round of defeats, she added.
