While he extended invitations to four independent MLAs, no invite was sent to the six Congress legislators who also support the government. An insider from the National Conference noted that this crucial meeting could tackle key challenges facing Jammu and Kashmir, amid claims by opposition leader Sunil Sharma that the ruling government may not complete its term.
