Congress Unveils Rajya Sabha Candidates for Key States
The Congress party has announced its candidates for upcoming Rajya Sabha elections. Key figures include Mallikarjun Kharge from Karnataka and Pawan Khera, fielded from Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. The Election Commission's notification for elections covers 24 seats, with nominations closing on June 8.

The Congress party has revealed the names of its candidates for the forthcoming Rajya Sabha polls, demonstrating a strategic selection from five states. Party president Mallikarjun Kharge, who currently serves as the Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, has been re-nominated from Karnataka, where his term is set to expire this month.
Pawan Khera, Chairman of the Congress Media and Publicity Department, features on the candidate list for Karnataka. Alongside him, Mansoor Ali Khan has also been tapped to represent the state. Meenakshi Natarajan, the candidate from Madhya Pradesh, joins Neeraj Dangi from Rajasthan, who has been re-nominated as well.
Praveen Chakravarty and Pranav Jha are poised to represent Tamil Nadu and Jharkhand, respectively. The Election Commission issued a notification on June 1 for biennial elections to 24 Rajya Sabha seats. Potential candidates have until June 8 to submit their nominations.
