Moitra reiterated the loyalty of these MPs, stating their electoral victory was firmly rooted in the TMC mandate.

Through a series of posts on the platform X, Moitra questioned the integrity of these dissenters, urging them to vacate their positions and seek a fresh mandate under the NDA banner. Her rhetoric was uncompromising, labeling them 'greedy self-serving traitors' with a challenge to contest elections as BJP candidates.

The attack intensified as Moitra singled out fellow TMC MP Yusuf Pathan, while dissident MP Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar's confirmation of the group's intent to join NDA has brought the issue to the forefront.
