Sounds of explosions were reported in Iran's Hormozgan province following U.S. self-defense strikes. This action was in response to the downing of a U.S. Army Apache helicopter. Iranian state media confirmed a projectile hit in Sirik, signaling heightened tensions in the region.
Explosions resounded in eastern Hormozgan province, Iran, early Wednesday, reported by the Fars news agency. This follows the U.S. Central Command’s announcement of executing self-defense strikes against Iran.
The strikes were in direct response to an attack that brought down a U.S. Army Apache helicopter, escalating military tensions.
In addition, Iranian state media confirmed that a projectile hit had occurred in the city of Sirik, marking a significant escalation in hostilities.
