Diplomatic Tensions: India's Protest Over U.S. Military Actions
India has summoned the U.S. Deputy Chief of Mission in New Delhi to protest recent U.S. military strikes on commercial vessels off the coast of Oman, resulting in the deaths of three Indian seafarers aboard the Settebello tanker. This marks the second protest by India in three days.
India has taken a diplomatic step by summoning the U.S. Deputy Chief of Mission in New Delhi, voicing strong opposition to U.S. military actions that have led to catastrophic outcomes.
In a tragic turn of events, a U.S. strike on the Settebello tanker off Oman’s coast resulted in the loss of three Indian lives. Further escalating tensions, a separate strike targeted another vessel, Jalveer, but the timely rescue operation saved 20 crew members.
This incident marks the second time in three days that India has registered its discontent, emphasizing growing diplomatic tensions between the two nations over military confrontations in the region.
