European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde expressed optimism about the recent ceasefire agreement with Iran, calling it 'good news' during an interview with France Culture radio.
The agreement, jointly announced by U.S. and Iranian officials, aims to conclude the longstanding war and reopen the critical Strait of Hormuz.
This tentative pact has sparked a decline in oil prices, however, the final resolution regarding Tehran's nuclear program still requires further diplomatic negotiations.
