US may restore Russian sanctions, Trump says
US President Donald Trump has hinted at reinstating sanctions on Russia, following the expiration of a waiver on Russian seaborne oil at midnight on Tuesday.

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Wednesday he may put sanctions back on Russia.
"I wanted to make sure that oil stayed as low as possible... I may put it back on," Trump said. U.S. Treasury did not publish an extension of its waiver of sanctions on Russian seaborne oil that ran out at midnight on Tuesday.
