BJP's state unit president Kanna Lakshminarayana on Monday said that over 300 people have adopted the membership of the party. Lakshminarayana told ANI: "Over 300 members have joined the BJP under me in Vijayawada".

He said that the reason behind BJP becoming strong in Andhra Pradesh was Prime Minister Narendra Modi. "People of Andhra believe in Prime Minister Modi and his policies. That is the reason why the BJP is becoming stronger in the state," he said. (ANI)
