Member demands abolishing of Article 370

BJP MP Nishikant Dubey Friday demanded abolishing of articles 370 and 35A related to special status to Jammu and Kashmir. Raising the issue during zero hour in the Lok Sabha, Dubey said he had been raising the issue of article 370 even earlier and had also brought private member bill in the House on the same.

Article 370 of the constitution was temporary and Home Minister Amit Shah has also been reiterating on this, the Member said. Sunil Kumar Singh (BJP) demanded Karma festival be put in the list of national festivals.
