The 12-second footage, which was shared by the company on Twitter, shows the deep blue hue of our planet's oceans, which provides a stunning contrast to the bright white clouds and brownish landmasses.
The video was captured after two of SES's satellites were launched to orbit on Friday, March 17. The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.

For the unversed, SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket has two stages. During liftoff, the first stage provides the initial thrust needed to get the rocket off the ground and following stage separation, it returns to Earth for landing and reuse. The second stage is responsible for propelling the payload into the correct orbit.
The rocket's second stage also provides an excellent vantage point for observing our planet in incredible detail.
