Rajasthan Experiences Relief with Light to Moderate Rainfall

In the last 24 hours, Rajasthan saw light to moderate rainfall, bringing relief from the heat. Cities like Jaisalmer, Udaipur, and Pratapgarh recorded significant rain. Due to a western disturbance, temperatures have dropped but are expected to rise slightly in the coming days.

In the past 24 hours, Rajasthan experienced light to moderate rainfall, providing much-needed relief from the persistent heat, according to the latest IMD data.

Rainfall measurements include 28.2 mm in Jaisalmer, 25.3 mm in Udaipur, and 23 mm in Chhoti Sadri of Pratapgarh. Most regions saw a temperature drop of one to two degrees Celsius.

“Due to a western disturbance, cities like Ganganagar, Bikaner, and Churu recorded below-normal temperatures,” said Radheshyam Sharma, in charge of the Jaipur Meteorological Center. He added that more rain and storm conditions are expected in southeastern areas like Kota and Udaipur in the coming days.
