Bihar's Rural Road Revolution: A Rs 17,000 Crore Boost

Bihar's rural road infrastructure will see significant enhancement with Rs 17,000 crore allocated for construction and maintenance. The initiative covers 37 projects, with a total length of over 19,000 km. Districts like Madhubani, Aurangabad, and Gaya are set to benefit the most from this development.

Bihar is poised for a massive infrastructural development leap as the state government sanctioned over Rs 17,000 crore for rural road construction projects. This monumental decision emerged from a high-level cabinet meeting led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

The approved projects encompass 11,251 roads, stretching across 19,876 km. This comprehensive plan promises to uplift infrastructure across various districts, according to S Siddharth, Additional Chief Secretary.

Madhubani, Aurangabad, and Gaya are among the key districts benefiting from this initiative, with specific allocations designed to address their infrastructural needs efficiently and economically.
