A fire incident occurred at a pesticide factory in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh, on Friday, but fortunately, no injuries were reported, according to police sources.

All 20-25 workers present during the incident managed to evacuate safely, said Superintendent of Police Puneet Gehlot. The fire is suspected to have been triggered by a short circuit, though further investigations are underway to pinpoint the exact cause.

The fire at the Fine Pest Sulphur (India) Private Limited facility was detected around 1 PM and was successfully put out within half an hour, as reported by Dewas City Superintendent of Police Dishesh Agrawal. Multiple fire tenders were deployed to control the smoke and flames, visible from a distance, and currently, authorities are evaluating the damage incurred.
