The India Meteorological Department confirmed that the earthquake's epicenter was situated near Kiargi in the Sundernagar area, precisely at 31.48 degrees latitude and 76.95 degrees longitude, at a depth of 7 kilometers.

The Mandi region, categorized as a high-damage risk zone under seismic zone 5, experienced noticeable tremors, although thankfully, the incident resulted in no significant harm to residents or infrastructure.
