Scorching Days Ahead: Meteorological Alert for Andhra Pradesh

The Meteorological Department forecasts increased maximum temperatures in parts of Andhra Pradesh, with temperatures expected to rise 2-4°C above normal. The North and South Coastal Andhra Pradesh regions, Yanam, and Rayalaseema will experience these changes due to prevailing lower tropospheric winds.

The Meteorological Department has issued a forecast indicating a rise in maximum temperatures for parts of Andhra Pradesh over the coming days. Temperatures are expected to climb 2 to 4 degrees Celsius above average initially, followed by a slight decrease.

According to the department, regions such as North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Rayalaseema will all be experiencing these increased temperatures, mainly due to prevailing easterly and south-easterly winds in the lower troposphere.

This weather pattern is likely to persist with maximum temperatures soaring especially in Rayalaseema between February 27 and March 1. Residents of these areas should prepare for the warmer days ahead.
