As Rajasthan prepares for the Holi festivities, the India Meteorological Department has announced that a weak western disturbance is likely to disrupt the weather, bringing clouds and light rain to certain parts of the state.

From March 13 to 15, areas such as Bikaner, Jaipur, and Bharatpur divisions may experience partly cloudy skies with a chance of drizzle or light rain. March 14 could see afternoon showers accompanied by thunder in select locations.

The Met office has also issued a statement warning of rising temperatures, specifically in Barmer, where the maximum readings could soar to 40-41 degrees Celsius, significantly higher than usual, raising the possibility of a heat wave.
