On Tuesday, Gujarat's Kutch district experienced two mild tremors of magnitudes 3.0 and 2.8, as reported by the Institute of Seismological Research (ISR).

District authorities confirmed there were no casualties or property damage. The initial 3.0 magnitude tremor struck at 11:12 a.m., 16 kilometers west-south-west of Rapar.

Moments earlier, a 2.8 magnitude tremor was recorded north-north-east of Bhachau. Kutch, located in a high-risk seismic zone, frequently experiences such events, including a devastating earthquake in January 2001.
