New Infrastructure Boost in Arunachal Pradesh Enhances Security

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh virtually inaugurated 32 critical infrastructure projects by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) in Arunachal Pradesh on Sunday. This initiative marks a significant effort to bolster connectivity along the strategic India-China border. The launch was part of a larger unveiling of 125 projects spread across various states, conducted from a central programme in Ladakh.
The ceremony at Aalo in West Siang district was organised by the 44 Border Roads Task Force. Present were key figures, including State Law and Justice Minister Kento Jini, who expressed optimism about the enhanced support these projects offer to troops deployed in the Shi Yomi and Upper Siang districts. Jini noted that the projects' contributions to uninterrupted connectivity will greatly aid both local residents and the armed forces.
Prominent projects include multiple bridges executed by Project Brahmank, among others like roads and a helipad by Project Vartak, Project Arunank, and Project Udayak. Additionally, Singh praised the BRO's technological innovations that are swiftly advancing the completion of critical infrastructure. The initiative signifies a broader nationwide push to enhance security and mobility across key regions.
