Inferno Engulfs Sadar Bazar Multi-Storey Building
A fire erupted at a multi-storey building in Sadar Bazar, prompting response from Delhi Fire Services. The blaze, starting on Wednesday night, swept through storage units for polythene and plastic bottles. Firefighters dispatched multiple water tenders, eventually controlling the flames by early Thursday morning.

A significant fire broke out late Wednesday at a multi-storey building in Sadar Bazar, situated near the local police station, an official from the Delhi Fire Services (DFS) reported.
At 9:23 PM, the DFS received an emergency call reporting flames within the building, which was housing several storage units. Initial response included three water tenders and a single water bowser. By 9:42 PM, additional help from two more water bowsers was requested and dispatched.
The fire had aggressively expanded, affecting a polythene warehouse on the second floor and a plastic bottle storage area on the third floor. Fortunately, the fire, which threatened the 100-square-yard structure comprising a ground floor plus three levels, was brought under control and fully extinguished by 1:45 AM. Cooling operations are still ongoing to prevent reignition, according to fire officials.
