In the affected region of Gilgit-Baltistan, mud houses suffered considerable damage, and heavy mountain rocks obstructed major highways and access roads. Ghulam Abbas, the regional information minister, stated that machinery was urgently dispatched to clear the blocked routes.
The fatality occurred when a rock struck a man on the road, highlighting the quake's dangerous impact on residents and infrastructure.
