Tragic Elephant Attacks Claim Three Lives in Jharkhand

In a tragic turn of events, three men, including an elderly individual, were trampled to death by wild elephants on Friday in Jharkhand's Ramgarh district. The incidents unfolded within the jurisdiction of Gola police station.
According to police reports, the first incident occurred in Banda village, claiming two lives. The second attack happened in Murpa village, where a 73-year-old man was trampled to death by the pachyderms.
All three victims were male, identified as Dheeraj Kumar (26), Jugal Bhuiyan (30), and Samdev Saw (73). Authorities have recovered the bodies and sent them for post-mortem examination at a government hospital, said Abhishek Kumar, Officer in-charge of Gola police station.
