Rajasthan's Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma announced a major environmental initiative on Saturday, termed 'Mission Hariyalo Rajasthan', focused on planting 10 crore saplings statewide this monsoon season.
During a forest department review meeting, Sharma emphasized the importance of inter-departmental coordination in achieving the ambitious plantation goals.
The initiative begins on World Environment Day, June 5, and includes innovative methods like drone seeding, aiming for a greener Rajasthan with 50 crore saplings planted by 2028.
