Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a significant visit to Sikkim and Uttar Pradesh from April 27 to 29. During this period, he will join celebrations marking Sikkim's Golden Jubilee of statehood in Gangtok and also address a women's conference in Varanasi.

In a major boost to India's infrastructure, Modi will inaugurate the Ganga Expressway in Hardoi, symbolizing a vital development stride. The visit will also see the dedication of over 48 completed projects valued at more than Rs 1,050 crore, alongside laying the foundation for 112 initiatives worth approximately Rs 5,300 crore.

The trip underscores the government's commitment to holistic and inclusive development, with projects spanning sectors such as healthcare, education, urban development, and tourism. Notable highlights include the foundation stone for a 100-bed Ayurveda Hospital in Sikkim and key infrastructure projects in Uttar Pradesh, enhancing regional connectivity and growth.
