A colossal blaze erupted at the ADGEL chemical company on Tatarpur-Jatola Road, Palwal, Haryana, on Thursday afternoon, igniting panic across the region. Police confirmed the safe evacuation of all workers.
The incident commenced around 3 pm, when a spark during the unloading of chemicals ignited the fire. The intensely flammable environment exacerbated the situation, swiftly engulfing the factory and producing thick smoke visible for miles, according to fire officials.
Locals reported that the fire brigade response was delayed. By the time they arrived, much of the factory's inventory was reduced to ash. Fortunately, there was no loss of life, but the event highlighted the ongoing risks posed by industrial chemical storage.
