In a bold move towards environmental rejuvenation, Delhi Mayor Pravesh Wahi has set an ambitious deadline for the complete disposal of waste at the Bhalswa landfill site by December 2026.
Upon his election, Mayor Wahi conducted a thorough review of the biomining and bioremediation procedures currently underway. He stressed the urgency of expediting work to reclaim the land for public welfare purposes, complete with a green belt post-clearance.
