In a strategic move to bolster Karnataka's innovation landscape, the Bangalore Bioinnovation Centre (BBC) has partnered with the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) to facilitate global recognition for startup-driven research, officials announced on Tuesday.

Under this groundbreaking agreement, startups within the BBC will experience a streamlined accreditation process, minimizing the complexities and timelines associated with validating pioneering research and products.

This collaboration is pivotal in establishing Karnataka as a global life sciences innovation hub, supporting over 512 innovation projects, including international startups and patents. By opening an international office in Melbourne, the BBC aims to extend its bio-innovation reach worldwide, facilitating more opportunities for startups in global markets.
