Transforming Karnataka: Bangalore Bioinnovation Centre's Leap with NABL
The Bangalore Bioinnovation Centre has partnered with the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories to enhance the global reach of startups in Karnataka. This collaboration is aimed at simplifying the accreditation process, boosting Karnataka's status as a global life sciences innovation hub.

In a bid to bolster Karnataka's innovation landscape, the Bangalore Bioinnovation Centre has inked an MoU with the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories. This strategic agreement is expected to streamline accreditation processes for startups, shortening the path to global recognition, officials revealed on Tuesday.
Speaking on the partnership, Manjula N, Chairperson of the Bangalore Bioinnovation Centre, highlighted its potential in elevating Karnataka as a life sciences innovation powerhouse. She noted the centre's significant achievements, including 512 supported projects and the launch of an office in Melbourne to push bio-innovation into international markets.
NABL CEO Ramanand N Shukla expressed that this collaboration is crucial for startups seeking global market integration. The MoU aims to enforce quality standards, offering structured training, certification pathways, and technical support, thereby helping startups to achieve faster and credible validation of their innovations.
