Dust Storms Set to Sweep Rajasthan, Temperatures on the Rise
Dust storms are forecasted to affect Rajasthan from Thursday, with temperatures gradually rising. The Jodhpur division and neighboring areas will experience strong dusty winds for several days. While thunderstorm activity is expected to decline, light rain may occur in northeastern regions. Bari reported the highest rainfall, while Phalodi recorded the maximum temperature.

Dust storms are poised to impact various parts of Rajasthan starting Thursday, as maximum temperatures are projected to rise over the coming days, according to the Meteorological Centre.
The Jodhpur division and surrounding regions will face strong dusty winds for three to four days starting May 7. Thunderstorms are declining across the state, though light rainfall is anticipated in isolated northeastern areas.
Temperatures are expected to increase by 3-5 degrees Celsius across most regions in the next 48 to 72 hours. The highest rainfall was recorded in Bari, Dholpur district, at 11 mm, while Phalodi experienced the peak temperature of 42.8 degrees Celsius in the past day.
