Russia's state nuclear energy corporation, Rosatom, announced on Friday that a Ukrainian drone attacked engineers working to clear mines near the Russian-controlled Zaporizhzhia nuclear power station. The attack left at least three people injured, two of whom are in serious condition.

According to Rosatom's head, Alexei Likachev, the drone strike was 'clearly calculated'. His comments, posted on social media, highlighted the deliberate nature of the attack on the nuclear facility workers.

In a subsequent statement, the corporation reported a total of five people were hurt in the drone strike, emphasizing the escalating tensions surrounding the strategically critical power station.
