France says high Garonne River temperatures could reduce nuclear output
EDF has warned that high temperatures on the Garonne River may restrict nuclear production at the Blayais site in southwestern France from June 24.

French state-owned utility EDF said on Tuesday high temperatures on the Garonne River that flows through southwestern France could potentially restrict nuclear production at the 3.6-gigawatt Blayais nuclear site from June 24.
This is in addition to warnings for nuclear sites on the Rhone River in eastern France.
