Talking points from the Bundesliga weekend: LEIPZIG WIN AGAIN

RB Leipzig have launched their comeback in the Bundesliga this year with two wins from two matches as last season's runners up move up to seventh place, four points off third-placed Bayer Leverkusen. "This was our first away win since April and it does us a world of good," coach Domenico Tedesco said after their 2-0 victory at VfB Stuttgart.

Tedesco took over in December following the sacking of American Jesse Marsch, and his team have lost just once in five league games under him. Leipzig had lost their last three games before Tedesco's arrival. LEWANDOWSKI GOALS

Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski's hat-trick against Cologne meant he became only the second player ever to reach the 300-goal mark in the league. The Poland forward, second on the all-time league scorer list behind Gerd Mueller's 365 goals, could hardly have timed his goals better, with the FIFA best men's player of the year award up for grabs later on Monday.

The Bundesliga top scorer has made the shortlist along with Lionel Messi and Mohamed Salah. RELEGATION BATTLE

Relegation-threatened Arminia Bielefeld have far from given up their fight to stay up and have stretched their unbeaten run to four matches with a 2-2 against bottom club Greuther Fuerth. The draw was enough to drag them off the relegation spots and past Stuttgart onto the playoff place in 16th, having picked up eight points from their last four games.
