IOC has asked Senegal to help in Diack investigation

The International Olympic Committee has asked Senegal to support a French investigation into the son of the former head of the international athletics federation (IAAF) who is suspected of corruption, IOC President Thomas Bach said on Tuesday. France's financial prosecutor has said that Senegalese Papa Massata Diack, the son of former long-time IAAF President Lamine Diack, had been at the heart of a corruption scheme in international sports, an accusation he has denied.

Penguins G Murray diagnosed with concussion

Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Matt Murray was diagnosed with a concussion, the team announced prior to Tuesday's practice. It is Murray's second known concussion in eight months and third of this career.

Excluded AIBA presidency candidate lodges CAS appeal

Kazakhstan's Serik Konakbayev, a vice president of the international boxing association (AIBA), has filed an urgent appeal with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) against his exclusion as a presidential candidate, CAS said on Tuesday.
