Jeev Milkha Singh and Jyoti Randhawa emerged victorious in their first-round matches, advancing to the next stage of the Paul Lawrie Matchplay event on the Legends Tour for Seniors in Europe.

Both Indian players held onto their leads after gaining an advantage on the 16th hole. Singh triumphed over Paul Streeter, while Randhawa prevailed against Thomas Gogele.

In the second round, Singh is set to compete against Keith Horne, and Randhawa will face Malcolm Mackenzie. Host Paul Lawrie dominated his match against Gary Marks with a 5&4 victory. The tournament featured several notable winners, including Scott Hend and Angel Cabrera. The field now narrows to 32 competitors heading into the next round.
