India's Stellar Performance Wraps Up Archery World Cup Stage 3

Dhiraj Bommadevara secured two bronze medals in the individual and recurve mixed team events, partnering with Bhajan Kaur. India concluded its Archery World Cup Stage 3 campaign with four medals. Ankita Bhakat narrowly missed out on a podium finish in the individual event, losing to top-seed Yang Xiaolei.

Dhiraj Bommadevara secured two bronze medals – one in the individual event and another in the recurve mixed team event with Bhajan Kaur, as India concluded their campaign with four medals in the Archery World Cup Stage 3 on Sunday.

India came close to more success, but Ankita Bhakat narrowly missed a maiden World Cup medal. She lost her semifinal to Yang Xiaolei of China and subsequently the bronze medal match.

The mixed team of Dhiraj and Bhajan bounced back impressively against Mexico, securing a stunning 5-3 victory after initially trailing.

Dhiraj then clinched another bronze in the individual event by defeating Italy's Marco Nespoli. It's his second World Cup bronze, having also medaled at Stage 1 last year.

India had already won gold and silver in the compound section. The women's compound team clinched gold, and Priyansh won silver.
