Avesh Khan Applauds Ravi Bishnoi's Fielding Brilliance in India's T20I Victory

Indian pacer Avesh Khan commended spinner Ravi Bishnoi for his stellar fielding performance that played a pivotal role in India's 23-run win over Zimbabwe in the third T20I. Bishnoi's remarkable catch helped India secure a 2-1 lead in the series.

In a thrilling T20I series, India pacer Avesh Khan has lauded fellow teammate and spinner Ravi Bishnoi for his exceptional fielding effort in the third game against Zimbabwe. Bishnoi's breathtaking catch was a standout moment in India's 23-run triumph, giving them a 2-1 series lead.

Defending a score of 182, Bishnoi's agile performance on the field curtailed Zimbabwe to 19/3 within the powerplay. Brian Bennett's attempted power cut was intercepted by a leaping Bishnoi, resulting in a reactionary catch that left Bennett visibly surprised.

Avesh Khan, in a video posted by BCCI on X, expressed his astonishment and praised Bishnoi's fielding prowess, stating, "We were shocked. He is a good fielder and works on his fielding. I got the wicket, but it should go in his tally." Rinku Singh and captain Shubman Gill also echoed this sentiment, acknowledging Bishnoi's valuable contribution to the game.

Despite a valiant effort from Zimbabwe's Dion Myers, India's commanding performance ensured they remained ahead. The 23-run win follows a comprehensive display in the second T20I, putting India in a strong position to clinch the series in the upcoming fourth match at Harare Sports Club on Saturday.
