In a thrilling finale of the World Championship of Legends 2024, India Champions triumphed over Pakistan Champions by five wickets at Edgbaston on July 13. The win was spearheaded by captain Yuvraj Singh's team, showcasing their dominance over their arch-rivals.

Choosing to bat first, Pakistan Champions posted a competitive 156 for 6 in their 20 overs, courtesy of key contributions from Kamran Akmal and Shoaib Malik. However, regular fall of wickets hampered their momentum. Anureet Singh shone with the ball for India, claiming three crucial scalps.

Chasing 157, India lost early wickets but an explosive half-century by Ambati Rayudu laid the foundation. Rayudu's partnership with Gurkeerat Singh Maan steadied the ship, while Yusuf Pathan's quickfire 30 off 16 balls sealed the deal for India, concluding the chase at 159 for 5 in 19.1 overs.
