Seven teams—Indo Kings, Asian Avengers, Euro Rangers, American Mavericks, Trans-Tasman Titans, African Lions, and Caribbean Vikings—will contend for the prestigious trophy, according to a league press release. Brosid Sports LLC, owner of the league, hosted the dazzling event, which saw the attendance of LIT20 Chairman & COO Arun Pandey, Promoter Mohit Joon, CEO Vishal Sharma, and former IPL player Pradeep Sangwan.
Speaking at the event, Pandey emphasized the potential of the USA market for cricket: 'There is a hunger for cricket here, especially among the Indian diaspora.' Promoter Mohit Joon described LIT20 as a 'second innings for every cricketer,' while Sangwan noted the league's potential as a milestone event for cricket legends worldwide.
The league will feature a single round-robin format, with the top four teams advancing to the knockout stage after 24 matches. Each day will feature double-headers at Moosa Stadium, with the complete schedule and player rosters to be announced soon.
