India took an early lead through Harmanpreet Singh in the 22nd minute with a penalty corner strike, but Great Britain equalized through Lee Morton's field effort in the 27th minute. After Rohidas's controversial send-off, Great Britain intensified their attack, attempting to capitalize on their numerical advantage.
