China secured the gold medal in the men's 4x100m medley relay swimming final at the ongoing Paris Olympics on Sunday, clocking 3:27.46. The USA took silver with 3:28.01, and France claimed bronze with 3:28.38.

In the women's 4x100m medley relay final, the USA finished first with a record-breaking 3:49.63, surpassing their own 2019 world record of 3:50.40. Australia earned the silver medal with a time of 3:53.11, while China took bronze with 3:53.23.

India's Olympic campaign in swimming was brief as both Srihari Nataraj and 14-year-old Dhinidhi Desinghu did not advance past the heats. Desinghu, who set a national record of 2:04.24 in the women's 200m freestyle, topped Heat 1 with 2:06.96 but placed 23rd overall, missing the semi-finals. Meanwhile, Nataraj competed in the men's 100m backstroke, finishing 33rd overall with a time of 55.01.

Despite their setbacks, the performances of Desinghu and Nataraj highlight the potential and spirit of Indian swimmers on the international stage.
