Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday met with the Indian contingent that returned from the Paris Olympics, celebrating their accomplishments at his residence.
The Indian men's hockey team, which secured its second consecutive bronze, presented Modi with a signed stick. Key players, including PR Sreejesh and Harmanpreet Singh, posed with the Prime Minister, proudly displaying their medals.
Manu Bhaker, who achieved the milestone of winning two bronze medals in a single Olympic edition, showcased her pistol to the PM. Modi praised the athletes on social media, affirming the government's commitment to enhancing sports infrastructure.
