Akhil Chaudhary's 4/20 and Ankit Kumar's explosive batting led the West Delhi Lions to a three-wicket win against the North Delhi Strikers in the Delhi Premier League T20 match at Arun Jaitley Stadium.

Akhil Chaudhary’s stellar bowling performance of 4/20 and Ankit Kumar’s aggressive 39 off 15 balls powered the West Delhi Lions to a thrilling three-wicket victory over the North Delhi Strikers in the Delhi Premier League T20 at Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday. Chaudhary’s remarkable effort with the ball restricted the Strikers to 144/8 in their 20 overs.

The Lions started their chase with a bang, crossing the 50-run mark in just 3.1 overs, thanks to Kumar’s quick-fire innings. Although the team lost wickets rapidly, they maintained control, achieving 76/3 after eight overs. An important partnership between Ekansh Dobal (27 off 24) and Dev Lakra (13 off 22) brought stability amidst the chaos.

Despite a late surge by the Strikers, taking two wickets in the 18th over, the Lions chased down the remaining runs with nine balls to spare. The victory was set up by efficient bowling that contained the Strikers early on, highlighted by Chaudhary’s earlier dismissals. This crucial win showcased the Lions’ depth and determination in the league.
